Itching in all the wrong places?

I've just recently started using condoms during sex and I DO NOT LIKE THEM.. What so ever. Well, this past Sunday me and my lover were getting in the mood and we used a condom.. Well, we had to stop like 30 minutes into it because I started getting dry.. well later that night we were up to go again.. and yet again.. so far into it I started getting dry.. From then til Wednesday I had had pain and itchiness in my vagina area, around the opening... Well, Wednesday we had sex again, first time with a condom ( when we were having sex it wasn't itchy or painful), well since then it does hurt.. it just itches.. Any clue as to why? No STDs or anything of that sort..
