My first year of college is basically covered by grants,etc. but don't know if i should go?

I just don't feel like I'm ready to move out hours away to college, my first full year is paid for (not literally, but financially covered) but I'm not sure if I want to go :( I don't think it's the right environment for me, i'd feel more comfortable going to the local community college. I don't know what to do? Orientation is this month :(
