Would I get STD's? Would it show symptoms if I did?

I've been trying on bikinis without panties on for years, but my hymen wasn't broken and nothing has happened to me for all these years. After my hymen got torn I started trying them on with panties. Would I get STDs from this? Wasnt it supposed to show symptoms if I did? Can having an intect hymen protect me from that since I'm careful now? Help please!
