Help!!! Man peeing blood?

My husband is in the marines and is stationed in Iraq at the moment. About 2 weeks ago he said he started peeing blood and had a little pain. He went to the medic guy and he told him that it was just his prostate that was stressed and wasn't uncommon and can be caused from not ejaculating alot and should get better soon. I am really worried and have never heard of this. Please help us. He is a 24 year old man who has no stds or diseases and is very healthy and in shape.
