Do I have a yeast infection or an STD?

I have been experiencing very painful sexual intercourse lately. Its almost a stinging/burning sensation only when my partner inserts his penis for the first 10 seconds, and then it seems to go away. I have done some research and it seems as though yeast infections cause painful intercourse as well as UTI's and some STDs. I am getting checked for STDs tomorrow just to be safe, but I dont want to be blind sited by something that cannot be cured, such as herpes, genital warts or HIV. I havent experienced any abdominal pain, fevers, sweating, or itching. The very last few seconds when Iurinate slightly burns, but nothing close to what it felt like when I had a previous UTI (It severely burnt when I peed!). If I possibly have an STD, which ones have these symptoms?
