Can a family doctor test for STDs during a yearly exam?

i think that if you ask your doctor for it to be confidential he CAN NOT tell your dad if you requested him not to do so.. Privacy of the patient is very strict in hospitals and in any health care setting..a doctor can't even have the right to speak to another doctor about your information without your consent.. i think even if your not over 18 but i mean if your 10 then i guess the dr has something to worry about
